It’s All About God

By Stovall Weems

Thursday is the day where I plan and we work on making our ministries more effective. We do a couple of meetings on the coming weekend experience that are very important. There is usually some strategic planning going on. It is a very busy day and you wouldn’t believe how much work goes into making the weekend happen as well as focusing on where we need to improve as a church. The goal of all of this is that people can experience the love of Jesus in the area of their needs and the gospel can go forward in power with as few distractions as possible. It is all about God and living life and doing ministry that honors God. That we would “walk worthy of the call of God” upon our lives and church.

Hi Pastor. I remember back in 2005 when you told us all during “Unleashing the power of everybody” that you had a secret to tell us….that you’re here to help us “get to God.” I know the meetings are long and the details sometimes jumbled, but thank you for pushing us all to be excellent in the pursuit that every person at a service can “get to God”. It’s working! -bigjohnscott
