Vision Night Service - Tonight, Wednesday at Midtown

By Stovall Weems

We’ve had an incredible time so far with our dear friend Christine Caine, from Hillsong Church in Australia. I want to remind you that tonight, we will all be coming together at our Midtown Campus to share in a special evening and Christine will be speaking. It’s going to be an exciting night as I also get to share the vision for the direction of our church in this next season and we reveal the latest architectural renderings of our new facility, including the plans for our sanctuary.

Don’t miss out as we take this next step in the history of our church.  These are exciting times for us and as we move closer to our Miracle Offering Weekend coming up, we’re believing God is going to bless our church in an incredible way. Pray that God show our church how to participate. It’s not about the amount, it’s about the heart and the willingness to carry the baton, as Chris said this weekend, to the next generation to reach the people that need to hear about Jesus.

To wrap up the night, we’ll break our fast together with grilled hot dogs and dessert! It’s going to be a great evening. See you then.

I am even more pumped and inspired after seeing the student ministries packing out the altar with a sea of hands raised in the air during worship at Vision Night. Praise the Lord! The student ministries will pack out the new altar at the new building before we know it!! I can’t wait for this weekend… God WINS!!!!

The baptismal needs to be able to contain your cajun terradactyl cannonball flip. I love this House so much.
Your wife’s unconditional love and teachings have helped gently transform my hurt and wounded soul into the woman God wants me to be. Thank you for releasing her and for releasing and trusting so many. We love you Pastor Stovall!

Vision night was very inspiring and what a blessing to be a part of a church with a mighty calling! The Imagine campaign is strong in mine and my husband’s heart. I thank God He lead us to Celebration and look forward to the new building and global ministry. Believing for an awesome Imagine offering this weekend!!!

Hey Pastor! My wife and I have really been praying and preparing for this weekend’s Miracle Offering and really getting excited for the opportunity to be generous and really give over and above; as we bring this offering to God. One of the scripture passages we landed on as we were praying was John 6:1-15, which is the story of Jesus feeding the 5 thousand. There was something here we had not noticed before.

Jesus sees all the people and turns to Phillip and lays out the vision for what He wants to do. Jesus asks, “Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?” (It’s interesting because He knew what He was going to do; He just wanted to see how his disciples would respond to the vision.)

Phillip hears the vision and immediately sees how “huge” it was and replies, “even if we all worked for months, we wouldn’t have enough money to feed all these people.” Andrew overhears all of this conversation and apparently asks this little boy if he would be willing to donate to the cause.

Andrew then spoke up. “There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?” Then Jesus simply takes the gift, gives thanks to God for it and God intern multiplies that one gift and performs a massive miracle.

Jesus’ vision for ministry to these people takes place and the testimony of what God did still lives on to today.

Man that just encouraged me to realize that if I would just be willing to give what God puts in my hands, He’ll handle the multiplying and miracle part. I can hardly wait to bring it to Him to see what He does with it.

Pastor Stovall…during the fast it hit me that everyday connected to this house of God is a ‘miracle offering’ from God to Rachel&I. I can’t wait to see what miracles are birthed for thousands of other families just like us in the seeds sown by our church in this weekend’s offering!

Wooohoooobittydoodaadooo! What a blessing it has been to have Christine Caine here with us. I get goosebumps just thinking about her speaking :)

This has been an amazing year and I can’t even imagine (no pun intended) what is about to come! I am praying that our leaders in the church will set the example for those to follow. My heart wants to go out to the world and let ‘em all know about our Lord and Saviour but sometimes it’s that person in your small group, or in guest services, or that someone sitting in the back of church that needs your smile, your prayers, your love. Let’s reach out to those closest to us as to be trained up for God to open up those doors to the world that lies ahead. Pass that Baton!!!

I believe that this miracle offering will truly be a miracle for Celebration Church. Christine Caine hit it on the nose when she spoke about the baton being passed along to us with this Miracle offering. God is good!!
