Awakening Prayer and Worship Night

One of the most powerful components of Awake21 is the Prayer and Worship Nights that we have throughout the fast. It’s so refreshing to come together as we’re all fasting and praying and just get into the presence of God. Every time we do these, we get some amazing testimonies of healings, breakthroughs, salvations and people getting fresh vision from God for their lives. It’s just incredible. The services are about an hour long and as we worship together, we spend some time praying corporately, but also allow time in the service for personal prayer and devotion. I encourage you to join us tonight, you really won’t want to miss this.

At Midtown and Orange Park Campuses
I also wanted to share with you the overall prayer points that we are praying for during Awakening. We’re also asking all churches and believers participating in Awakening to generally pray for these 4 things on a regular basis:
1. All the churches participating in Awakening – That we would have maximum effectiveness in advancing the Kingdom of God in 2009 and that God would do everything He wants to do in our churches and ministries.
2. Believers in the churches participating in Awakening – We are praying for the believers in your churches and their individual prayer requests.
3. The Body of Christ – That as a whole, the Body of Christ would be all that God wants us to be in 2009.
4. Pastors and Spiritual Leaders – That we would be men and women after God’s own heart and live a life worthy of the Gospel.

This time of pray and fasting is life changing. God is doing something special in my own life. I am amazed at the number of people coming to pray in the Celebration Church campuses in Zimbabwe. Oh what a hunger!
My wife and I became Celebration members about 6 months ago after spending the last 8 years at another church. We feel more connected here than ever before. God has done some amazing things in our lives and we are so grateful for HIS Grace and Mercy. My testimony is one of rough times before the LORD transformed my life. In fact, my best friend and crime partner from 1986-94 is currently serving a 30 year prison sentence for the stuff we were doing. On another note, I loved your story about hunting with your son and the encounter with the goose and red rider bb gun.
Why did I think I could draw closer to God during this fast without getting major pushback from the enemy of my soul?? Wimp that he is, he won’t attack me head on, he has to use my friends and family to try to get to me!
I am praying not only for my marriage but all marriages in the BOC.
Since I started this fast the enemy has started attacking what I call ‘weak links’ in my life- not people who are weak in their faith, but links that I am weak in- people close to me who have the most opportunity to aggravate or offend me.
John Bevere calls offense the ‘bait of satan’ and the enemy is definitely trying to use it against me during this fast. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is experiencing increased tension in their households.
While I have no issues with holding grudges or staying offended, my prayer is for those who do.
Nothing blocks the move of God more than people with unforgiveness in their heart- unforgiveness ties God’s hands. During this fast in order to hear from God we have to get rid of the blockages !!
As Jesus said in the gospels, “… if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”
Lord God, break the chains of bondage that bind believers from true freedom in Christ through forgiveness of others and themselves!
Can’t wait for prayer night tonight!!! I also just want to lift up so many of those who are just under severe attack right now going through this fast. I know I have been physically, emotionally, and spiritually but am finding my strength in keeping in the Word, keeping in prayer, and knowing that God must have some BIG things to reveal that Satan just don’t want to happen, TOO BAD DUDE!!!
Also want to recommend the prayer room they opened up on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7-8:30am in classroom C. The Holy Spirit is so present in that place, totally rockin
